Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using nimu ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of service

nimu is a field operations platform that provides scheduling, dispatching, job management, custom forms, and customer notification tools for service businesses. The Platform includes web, mobile, and desktop applications.

3. Account registration

You register using your email address and a magic-link authentication flow. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

4. Subscriptions and billing

nimu offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Paystack. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure.
• Use the Platform to send spam or unsolicited communications.
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Platform.

6. Data and content

You retain ownership of all data you create on nimu. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited licence to process your data as necessary to provide the service. We will never sell your data to third parties.

7. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Platform available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. Support is available at [email protected].

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, nimu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for a reasonable period to allow export, then deleted.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cape Town.
